Enlightenment can be attained
through meditation, self-contemplation,
intuition and recreation. Nothing plays on the open-minded eardrum like
quality LIVE music in a cozy atmosphere. Citi-Zen is a new band, rich
with relevant lyrics and an energetic sound. Citi-Zen feels like a hybrid
of Rock and Roll and Urban-Jazz. A colorful blend that emanates from
the dimly lit ambiance of ACME, where the drinks are priced right and
the music bouncing off the walls excites your senses. Check out the
colorful blend that is Citi-Zen and enjoy a taste of New York's urban
beat.
Come celebrate your existence with the new band in town!

CITI-ZEN, Three guys make music
without a DJ or other pop / electronica ornaments.
Sound simple? Sure it is. Simple rock / jazz beats
driving guitar, bass and vocals. Songs range from move
your booty grooves like "Remote Control" to rock your
brain "American Scream", and then the band brings
on the ethereal rhythm monster "King Pink".

Not exactly radio common, this trio brings to mind the
inspired emotion of the early Police, and any one of
the Robert Fripp incarnations. The three exhibit an
honest passion for sound and music. Hard pop rhythms
and real words make "Heartworn" and "Lonesome Road"
solid hits. While "American Scream and "Dont You Believe
It"
cross over to head banging. Then the band will break the mold
with "Carousel", "Ballabuste" and their signature
piece "King Pink".
